The theme for this week is New Vision. It is time to revamp old dreams and tweak them according to the person you are now. You have grown much this past year mentally, spiritually and emotionally. Rewrite your dreams to reflect who you have become.
Tuesday, April 3, Venus moves into Gemini and will stay there until August 7. Usually a planet is in a sign for a month or so, so this is a long time for Venus to be one sign. This energy brings several things. The first thing that you will notice is that you will want something different (or a different person) in your relationships. This will drive other people crazy as they will say, “But you said you wanted this.” Well, that was before Venus moved into Gemini. Another aspect of this energy is increased communication in relationships. For some, this will be great, as you will be able to communicate and merge on a variety of levels. For others, one of you will be doing all the talking. Which brings up the question – “Can one person fulfill all your needs in a relationship?” In Western society, we love to believe in the fairy tale that one person can be our Prince or Princess Charming and be all that we will ever want or need in a relationship. However, in reality, can one person do it all? Is that really possible in our complex, fast, ever-changing world? The key to this is honest communication with yourself first and then with your partner. Sure, you risk losing the relationship, but is that worse than being in a relationship that does not meet your needs and never will? Now, I must emphasize that this does not mean that everyone’s relationship will end under Venus in Gemini. For most of you, Venus in Gemini means to do a bit of relationship feng shui. Do something different and fun; something you have wanted to do. Move the energy around a lot. That is why many relationships break up. The individuals involved have gotten used to each other’s energy and crave something new and exciting. So, shake things up a bit in your current relationship so that it will feel the way it was when it first started. Now, go back, re-read the above paragraph and substitute money, work or job for “people relationships,” and heed the advice.
Wednesday, April 4, the day we have been waiting for…Mercury goes direct today at 3:12 am PDT. Woo hoo. Now Mars is still retrograde, which is putting the brakes on things, but at least ideas and opportunities will begin to appear.
Thursday, April 5, there is a square between Venus and Neptune, which will bring to the surface, the illusions, and areas of denial in your relationships to people, work, and money. What people usually do in their relationships is to force their dream on the reality that they are experiencing. We sugarcoat reality, i.e., “My partner does not have job and does not want to ever have one, so I have to pay for everything while he/she plays video games. But he/she really loves me” or “I work long hours without commensurate compensation, but I should be grateful that I have a job.” Well, this energy will make you look at your life and see what you have been in denial about. Nevertheless, do not despair, as today marks the beginning of a Yod between Pluto, Saturn, and Venus (The Yod ends on April 8) which is wonderful energy for manifesting love and money. However, if you do not give value to yourself, you will not experience the abundance of this transit. In addition, we will experience a Full Moon tomorrow and that will be a great time to start a new project, job, relationship, or just lay the foundation for one. If you do not know exactly what you want, this is the perfect time to explore your needs and start a wish list.
Friday, April l6, the Full Moon in Libra peaks at 12:19 pm PDT and is in opposition to the Sun in Aries. This will cause conflict between what you want to do and the “should’s” in your life. Remember the world reflects what we believe to be true and if we feel guilty about something, it will be in our face blaming us. The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is, “Two men placed under arrest give an accounting for their acts before the tribunal of society.” The Sabian Symbol is based on the sign and degree of the Moon at the time it peaks. (To see all the possible Sabian Symbols, visit http://www.astrologyweekly.com/sabiansymbols/list.php). I find it interesting that the Sun-Moon opposition, resonates with the current Full Moon Sabian Symbol of 17 degrees Libra. The two men represent the conflict in your life between what you want to do and what you feel/think you should do. Honesty and integrity and self-value are the only way to deal with it.
Saturday, April 7, Venus is at it again with a square to Mars and the Yod that started April 5 peaks today. This will be experienced as obstacles to what your heart desires or as passion and resolution to go forward no matter what. Resonate with the passion. This is just a test to see if what you say you want is really, what you want. The “threshold guardians of mythology” come forward and make sure that you earn your way to the other side. The opponents that you must overcome are the default programs in your unconscious that make you think that you are not good enough or do not deserve. It is time to erase those programs. Remember the Pogo quote “We have met the enemy and it is us.”
The card that I pulled for this week is a healing card from Louise Hay. “I know that I can create miracles in my life. My innate creativity surprises and delights me.”
If you like this blog, please go to my Facebook page “Aquarian Lifeworks” and leave a comment on my posts for this blog. There is an algorithm with Facebook that uses comments left by friends as the criteria for increasing ratings for a site. The comment does not need to be long; it can be as simple as “Thanks.” It is not enough to simply “like” a posting, a comment must be left. And please let me know your pages on Facebook, so that I can like them and leave comments. This is my goal for the up coming year, to support my friends and their businesses by commenting on their Facebook page. Thank you in advance. Namaste.
