Astrology for the Week of November 19, 2012
by Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is to have some fun this week. With Mercury retrograde going on and the holidays looming before us, take some time this week and do something enjoyable for you. Remember the saying, “All work and no play, make Jack a dull boy.”

The week is relatively quiet until Thanksgiving naturally. On Thursday, November 22, Neptune is square the Sun and trine Venus. The message is to not to try to control things today, you will be beating a dead drum. Instead try to feel mystical and magical, and give thanks for everything that is going right in your life. This is definitely the day to play.

Friday, November 23, Mars is square Uranus which will make people impulsive, rash and careless which will exacerbate the energy on Black Friday. It definitely is not a good combination. Make the effort to be mindful today, so you don’t make purchases that you will regret later.

Saturday, November 24, Mars is sextile Saturn. This will make you logical and productive – a good day to return those impulse buys that you really don’t want or need. What seemed like a good idea yesterday, just won’t cut it today. And on that note, it is a good day to think about how you are going to wrap up projects for this year, so you can start on something new in 2013.

Sunday, November 25, Venus is trine Chiron, so it is a good time to mend bridges and heal relationships.

The card that I pulled for this week is a healing card from Louise Hay.  “I know that I can create miracles in my life.  My innate creativity surprises and delights me.”

Astrology for the week of November 12, 2012
By Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is to be resourceful. Search for opportunity in what appears to be a loss. There always is a pony in the in the manure.  Look for the ponies this week.

This week starts off with another bang like last Tuesday with a solar eclipse and New Moon at 2:08 pm in Scorpio. So let’s break this down. A New Moon or Dark Moon is a time to set intentions for the upcoming month. The Sabian Symbol for this New Dark Moon is “Hunters protected by heavy clothing are shooting wild ducks.”  Think of the wild ducks as the beliefs that are flying around in your head about concerning people, possessions, or events that no longer serve you. You are the hunter and it is time to directly confront those limiting aspects. You are protected so you will be safe.

The second part of this New Dark Moon is a solar eclipse.  A solar eclipse in Scorpio forces us to take responsiblity for whatever we have manifested in our lives and also emphasizes our responsibility for one another on this planet. This brings up an issue that the movie, The Secret, raised - if we should or should not help people who are struggling on this planet. The movie stated that because everyone is creating their own world, we are not responsible to help them. It expounded an “everyone is on their own” ideology. But that is only partially true.  Yes, those people who have horrible lives are creating their world from what they believe to be true, but at the same time, OUR belief about war, evil, poverty, illness is also keeping them stuck. As long as we are judgmental about those negative conditions, we keep everyone stuck in them. The Secret gave us permission to feel superior to other people if we had money, status, and lack of struggle in our lives, by stating that we were being rewarded because we had the correct thoughts and vibration. But that just a white washed new age version of the rewarding punishing Judeo-Christian God.  Everyone in the world is us, and by changing our beliefs we can positively affect everyone's lives.

The other interesting fact about this solar eclipse is that it is the last eclipse before the Mayan Long Count Calendar completes this last cycle on December 21. So, this New Dark Moon is the big clean up to make us  ready for personal transformation. However, because Mercury is retrograde, this expunging will feel like two steps forward and three steps backwards. This is one time to become immersed in the process and not focus on the end result.

Friday, November 16, Chiron favorable aspects Saturn.  This will show our limiting beliefs about health and healing. All of this energy this week reminds me of a study I heard about. In the study, college students were paid $5.00 to read a newspaper and count how many photos there were in it. On the second page of the newspaper, in big letters, there were the words “If you see this, the experiment is over. There are 83 photos in this newspaper. Go tell this to the researcher and you will get $250.00.  All of the participants were tested ahead of time to see if they were optimistic or pessimistic. The individuals who were rated optimistic were the ones who got the $250.00. When the researchers asked the other people if they saw the announcement, some said that they did not believe it and so, they did as they were instructed, and dutifully counted all the photos. What was really interesting was that the other individuals who did not claim the additional money, stated that they did not see the announcement. They had no memory of it. However, because of the ability to track eye movements, the researchers knew that the people did in fact read the words, but their minds filtered it out of conscious awareness. Their belief systems did not allow for abundance of this type.  Now, I know that all of you reading this blog are advanced spiritually and know that you are open minded and would not have missed the opportunity to earn an easy 250.00, but the energy this week says to be mindful where you are pessimistic and limit your opportunities. Just like the people in the experiment who did not see the words that would have given them $250.00, there is something in your belief system that is just as limiting. Look for it this week.

Saturday, November 17, Mercury positively aspects the Sun in Scorpio, so communication will be deep and intense. However, remember that Mercury is retrograde, so it will be easy to get bogged down in the emotion and feel that there is no forward motion. Just love what is and let it go. There is movement but it just not happening as quick as you like.

The card that I pulled for this week is an archetype card from Caroline Myss. The card is the shape-shifter and has a range of possibilities to experience. Positive attributes are the skill at navigating through different levels of consciousness and the ability to see the potential in everything. The shadow attributes are projecting an image that serves your persons agenda at the moment. Choose where you are on the continuum. You have a choice.

Astrology for the week of November 6, 2012
by Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is to be happy no matter what. The negative experiences, frustrations, obstacles, etc. will happen anyway, so take time to notice something that is going right in your world.  You will feel much better and it will be easier to get through tough times.

Tuesday, November 6, our friend, Mercury goes retrograde at 3:03 pm PST. Mercury retrograde is known for issues with communication, technology and travel. It is not considered a good time to start something new or to sign contracts. This does not mean that you can’t start something new, just be prepared for things that could go wrong. Preparation is the key. Mercury retrograde also is a time when old issues concerning communication, technology and travel will surface, and it is an optimal time to clear them up. So, back up your computer, allow time when you travel and remember that even though you think you make sense and talk clearly, the receiver of your communication may not understand what you mean at all. Mercury retrograde will end on November 26.

Friday, November 11, Venus is trine Jupiter, so this is a lucky time astrologically for matters concerning love and money.  Jupiter brings opportunity, so be open for wonderful things to happen.

Sunday, November 11, Neptune goes direct. This will bring clarity to your questions concerning who you are, why you are here and which direction to go spirituality. So, if you have been trying to figure out the big “Why?” the fog will be lifted. This will also be a wonderful time to deepen your spirituality and divine connection. Focus on bringing your light out to the world.

The card that I pulled for this week is rebirth.  The message is to acknowledge that you are not the same person you were a year ago and honor how far you have grown.  A plastic surgeon told me once that the reason why he takes before and after pictures of patients is that many of them forget what they really looked like before the facelift.  After a year or so, they think that they look the same. They have gotten used to their new looks but did not change inside. So, rebirth reminds you to really take stock of how you have changed and to celebrate and honor that.

Astrology for the Week of October 29, 2012
by Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is rebirth. It will be another week of shakeups as the energy of 2012 forces us to take a hard look at what do we believe is true. You won’t need to go to the movies for excitement as things literally will be movie fast and erratically this week. Expect more unusual weather patterns and plenty of fright from your biggest fears getting into your face. Just strap your seatbelt on for the ride.

Monday, October 29 we have a Full Moon in Taurus at 12:49 pm PDT. Normally this would be a great day for manifesting money or a new relationship, but Pluto (death and rebirth) plays a prominent part in bringing up all your old beliefs that you developed from your childhood. These are all those background and start up programs that you have been ignoring but are finally being brought to your attention. You no longer can ignore them as they are slowing things down and will cause your world to crash. The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon is "The woman of Samaria comes to draw water from Jacob's well.”  This means that you truly want to transform to the next level but you have been demanding that it been done on your terms – manifesting according to your agenda. Well, that isn’t going to happen and you must take a leap of faith. The quandary is that you dislike much of what is happening in your life but the fear of the unknown is just is great. The question is - should you stay with what you hate because you do know how to exist and what to expect, or do you jump into something with no guarantees at all. The energy this week is making you choose. You can no longer straddle the fence.

Tuesday, October 30, the energy lightens up a bit with the Sun sextile Pluto. If you are ready to let go and move on, this energy will make that happen.

Friday, November 2, the intense energy is back on with the peak of a T-square between Venus, Pluto and Uranus. This hard aspect will challenge you in the areas of love and money. It will force you to change your view of relationships and work. The world reflects what you believe to be true and this aspect will make you look at what you believe about money and love. So for clues as to what will come up, look at your family history and what your parents and their parents believed was true about our world. This is what this T-square wants to you release. You want wonderful experiences but do you really believe that it could happen? This will truly be a test of trusting that good things do and will happen to you.

The card that I pulled for this week is from Sacred Geometry – Transformation. This card actually did come up after I wrote the blog. This card is a reminder that the stage you are in is the cocoon stage.  The forces are strong and are forcing you to change into something else. You cannot force change to happen but can only release blocks and limitations that are in your way. Make choices from your heart and not from fear in order to move effortlessly through this phase.

New Class - Releasing Techniques that Work.  Monday, November 5, 2012 at 7-8:30 pm. 828 NW Hill St, Bend OR. This class will focus on the Sedona method and Emotional Freedom technique that is endorsed by Jack Canfield and others in the Positive Motivational World. However, my style is eclectic and I will add other information for clarity. You will learn tools that will move old beliefs. Experience shifts. Cost is 20.00 preregistered and 25.00 at the door.  Visit www.michele-freeman.com for more information.

Astrology for the Week of October 22, 2012

by Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is acceptance. The most challenging aspect of law of attraction is not having a judgment towards money. Not wanting something like poverty or desperately wanting money prevents it from coming into your life. So, for this week just accept everything without judgment.  It is what it is – neither good or bad.

Tuesday, October 23, the Sun is trine Neptune. This is intense energy that will allow transformation in your life. It will show you what motivates you and what you truly want. This energy will allow you to make change easily, so definitely take advantage of it.

Thursday, October 25, the Sun is conjunct Saturn.  This can manifest as limitations or obstacles that are in your way or this energy can make you aware of the practical steps to put  your plans into action.  It all depends on your perception of life. So if you find your day full of obstacles, realize these are self imposed limitations and you can change them.

Saturday, October 17, the Sun is trine Chiron. This is a powerful day for healing in all aspects of your life. So watch the memories that come up today. They will show you what needs to be healed and relased even if you no longer have an emotional reaction to them.

Sunday, October 28, Mars is in opposition to Jupiter. Really look at the goals you have with a new perspective. You may find that you are still pursuing goals for reasons that no longer are relevant. Take a hard look at what you think you want to experience in this life. You may find that it no longer matters and that you really want something else to manifest. Update your desires to reflect who you are right now.

We will also experience the beginning of another T-square which will be challenging energy. This aspect will peak on the 2nd and involves, Venus (love and money), Pluto (death and rebirth), and Uranus (radical change). This aspect will bring challenges to many in the areas of love and money. It is another wake up call to let you know what needs to be released so that you can transform.

The card that I pulled for this week is Caroline Myss’ healing card. “When I make a mistake, I realize that it is only part of the learning process. As I forgive myself, it becomes easier to forgive others. ”

Astrology for the week of October 15, 2012
By Michele Freeman

The theme for this week is "to focus on the outcome." If you decide how you want something to manifest, you will be literally missing the boat. You could easily stop something that is supposed to manifest in your life by rejecting the way it happens. Sometimes freedom from debt is bankruptcy. Sometimes a medical solution is surgery. Sometimes the baby you want comes through adoption.  Yes, we all want to win the lottery or experience a physical miracle, but that is not the way your soul wants it to be. The lesson is to be nonjudgmental about everything. When you decide the “how” of a goal, you are setting up resistance and not allowing the energy to flow. Focus on the end result and you will get what you want.

Monday, October 15, 2012, this is the day to definitely put the theme of the week into action. First, we experience a New Moon at 5:02 am PDT in Libra. What we call a New Moon used to be the Dark Moon. The New Moon was actually the first crescent that appears after the invisible phase of the Moon. So if we take this into consideration with the Sabian Symbol of this Moon, “Chanticleer’s voice heralds the rising sun with enthusiastic tones,” it is a good omen for positive events to occur. This is definitely welcomed after the chaotic heavy energy of the previous weeks. This New Moon says to follow your passion and initiate new beginnings. And to help facilitate this change, Mars is trine Uranus, which is wonderful energy for physical manifestation. This is a good day to follow you hunches and take action on them.

Tuesday, October 16, Venus is trine Mercury and is also square Jupiter, which is positive energy for areas of love and money. So, if you weren’t sure what you heart really wants you to do, this will be a great day to get inspired and find clarity. The Jupiter square will make you aware of what you need to let go of so you can move forward.

The rest of the week is quiet astrologically, which means the energy that began at the beginning of this week will be dominate all week long.

The card that I pulled for this week is “Miracle Healing.” Be open to miracles this week and as the theme of this week stated, don’t decide how the miracle will manifest. Let’s all initiate what we really want to experience this week. The time is right.

On Wednesday, October 17, we will have out last Wednesday astrology class. This week, I will print up charts for everyone, and we will go over what the planets, aspects and houses mean in all participants’ charts. This should be an exciting evening as Astrology shows what our true passions really are. Perfect for this week. Class starts at 7 pm and is $20.00. It will be held at the Peace Center at 828 Hill St. in Bend (between Franklin and Greenwood). Even if you missed all the previous classes, do show up as it will informative for all. Call 541-408-4943 for more information.
