Astrology for the Week of March 19, 2012

The theme for this week is to pretend. When you meet people this week, do not tell them what is really happening. Tell an outrageous "lie" about what you want to experience. Say it as if it were really happening. When we are “accurate” about our world, we lock in what is happening. Open the door to something different. Start first by saying it aloud. Be bold and daring. Plant the seed for something new and better to come in.

The week starts with the Spring Equinox on Tuesday, March 20, 2012. This is the first day of Spring and the day signaling the balance of sun light and darkness. There are 12 hours of sunlight and 12 hours of darkness. It is the pagan holiday of Eostre, which signified new beginnings. However, with Mercury retrograde until April 7 and Mars retrograde until April 13, it is best to be in a waiting mode until both those planets go direct. However, there will be plenty of things to do in the meantime.

Wednesday, March 21, we experience a Sun-Mercury conjunction, which will stimulate mental activity. This will be the perfect time to discover solutions and answers for pressing issues. You may not be able to act on it yet, but you will know what to do.
Thursday, March 22, we have a New Moon in Aries at 7:37 am PDT. The New Moon is in conjunction with Mercury and Uranus, which means that the information you receive will be powerful, and life changing. The Sabian Symbol for this New Moon is “A cameo show the profile of a man that suggests the outline of his country.” Think about that in relation to the economic mess that this country is in and with politicians who are out of touch with the reality that most of us are experiencing. We are the man and yet at the same time are our country. We can change things so that it can be beneficial for all. We just have to believe it is possible and be in harmony with the energy. We are the solution. In addition, remember, even though, this is generally time to start new projects, this energy says to focus on being the energy first. An opposition between Mars and Chiron also supports healing the part of us that believes that we cannot change the status quo.

Friday, March 23, Retrograde Mars leaves Aries and goes back into Pisces through April 16. This will focus you energy on spirituality, universal healing, creativity, and divine love. This will be a great time to ask for guidance and direction from your higher self.

Saturday, March 24, Saturn and the Sun are conjunct. This is a powerful time to get in sync with the energy of you that you want to project into the world. This is the time to feel as if you are the person you want to be. Pull that energy in. Allow new aspects of yourself to unfold. By changing how you view yourself, you dramatically change the results/outcomes you experience in the world.

The card that I pulled for this week is Relationship (Doreen Virtue). “Your primary relationship is with yourself and God and every other relationship follow from there. To attract, heal or balance a relationship, then snuggle more closely with your loving Creator. As you feel safe and loved within, so shall your other relationships bloom and prosper.”
