The theme for this week is Courage. Your worst fears are in your face. You have a choice. Are you going to give up your power and feel helpless? Are you going to get angry and fight thus losing your power? Or are you going to believe in your self and remain calm and detached in the midst of your worst nightmare? You are being tested. You must choose. You will not be allowed to straddle the fence.
The week starts with Venus in opposition to Jupiter on Monday, August 8. This will force balance in relationships and also allow creative new beginnings. New beginnings are also supported with the New Moon in Leo that occurs at 8:08 pm PDT. The Sabian symbol for this New Moon is “A chemist conducts and experiment for his students.” This says to look at life as a wonderful experiment. What are you going to do different or what are you going to try? When you do this, remember that you can only tell how things happened in your life. You cannot tell how they are going to happen. Think about this. It is very important.
Venus is at it again with a square to Pluto on Tuesday, August 10. This will bring needed change in the areas of love and money. If the change is uncomfortable, it is only showing you which beliefs in your life you need to let go of.
Remember there still are those stressful aspects in the sky, namely Jupiter and Uranus square Pluto which are still forcing change in our world. This will continue to exert pressure in the economy to force much needed changes instead of the useless band aid solutions that have been implemented. In spite of what economists say, recovery is not happening and things have to get worse in order for real solutions to emerge. Just remember that everything has a cycle and that is what is happening now. The earth calls for balance and what may appear to be destructive and bad, really is just a part of the cycle of life. What goes down will come up. It just won’t happen on our terms and according to our agenda.

Heyokah: Humor opposites. This card appears when you are taking yourself too seriously. Humor has been shown to help heal physical ailments. It also can heal mental and spiritual ones also. Take time to laugh this week. It is the best thing you can do for yourself and others.
