Astrology for the Week of August 2, 2010

The theme for this week is Vision Quest” Seeking/Finding. The message is to take a new look at the vision that you seek. Is it based on what your ego wants or is it based on your truth? Look closely at your vision and your motivation behind it. Then feel what your body says. This is where you will find the truth.

This is another action packed week starting with a Jupiter-Pluto square on Tuesday, August 3. This aspect heightens the potential for powerful new beginnings. However, the square indicates that the new beginnings will happen because of what you will perceive as a disaster or loss. So, instead of focusing on the negative side of things, tell yourself, “Oh good, something wonderful is going to happen.” And then think of the Phoenix and look for the opportunities that will arise out of the ashes.

On Wednesday, August 4, Mars enters the dynamics of the day before and creates volatile high octane energy. This will either bring more chaos into your life or if you have done the preparations the past few months, will be the catalyst to propel your plans into action. So, remember the theme for this week. What is your vision quest? Have you done your homework? If you have and it is aligned with your soul purpose, get ready to go to the stars.

Friday, Venus enters Libra which will make you focus on relationships. Libra is all about balance and will let you know if yours are out of balance.

Saturday, August 7, Venus is busy aspecting Uranus and this will bring about the necessary changes in your personal and business relationships. If change/balance is needed, it will abrupt and to the point.

Sunday, August 8, Venus is conjunct Saturn, another difficult transition. This will make you aware of the perceived responsibilities in relationships. Are you getting your needs met or are you expected to be responsible for your partner’s needs. Where are the “shoulds” in your relationships. This transition will make you aware of the hidden motivations and manipulations.

The cards that I pulled for this week are:

Seeker of Crystals: The Cowardly Lion. The message is to become aware of the truth that you already are complete exactly as you are. So many people are workshop junkies, going from one teacher to another thinking that the truth is “out there.” Just like the Lion, you will find out in the end that you already had the answers inside of you.

Fehu: Signals, the Messenger. The message is that this is the moment of new life unfolding. This is the beginning of a new cycle. Meditation on what your heart wants and let go of the worries and fears of the ego.

The Fifth Chakra: Triple Goddess. This card says to become aware of your truth. Speak your truth from your heart. Your fears have covered the truth. It wants to be heard now.
