Astrology for the week of September 17, 2012

This is a very powerful week with several major life changing  transitions. Therefore, the theme for this week is “time for change.” Allow the change to happen and do not try to decide how it should happen. You wanted to ascend and transform, the energy this week will ignite the process.

Tuesday, September 18, Pluto, goes direct at 6°57' Capricorn.  Pluto in an earth sign promotes transformation through work and accomplishments, so this will be a great time for the birth of your plans from ideas into the physical. The other side of Pluto is death, and this energy will also spotlight what does not support you in your life anymore.  So let go of the part of you that is the martyr and victim. We know how much you can put up with and how much you have suffered. You do the jobs of 3 people and get paid for one whereas one of your coworkers does way less than you do and gets away with it. Pluto says to let go of the fear. Change your belief that you have to do all that you do in order to keep your job. It is keeping you stuck. Allow the transformation to happen. It is time.

Wednesday, September 19, we will experience another peak of the Uranus-Pluto square. This is a part of seven events that will end in 2015. The first peak happened in June. The next one will be in May 2013. This peak of energy represents the transition of 2012. 2012 was not the end of time itself but the beginning of transformation. Uranus is the awakener. It is the knock on the head to wake you up. Uranus represents liberation, radical change, and  revolution.  It is in Aries, so this energy is about creativity and personal expression. It  is clashing with Pluto in Capricorn, so this change will be in work and accomplishments. So, if you have not done anything to make the changes you know you should do, this energy will bring them about whether you like it or not.  Also, this energy is not just in your personal life, it also extends to your outer world. If you look at our current political scene with some extreme radical groups making a play for power, this energy says that you must stand up for truth, freedom, and integrity. Otherwise, it can be taken away which will force you to make the necessary changes. Remember the Hermetic saying, “As above, so below” What is happening on the political scene is a reflection of us. This energy says it is time to be the change.  

Thursday, September 20, we experience the peak of a T-square between Mercury and our friends, Uranus and Pluto. (For those who do not understand astrology terminology, squares mean tension and conflict). So, now we add our thoughts to the powerful intense energy that is happening. This will bring up all the unresolved issues from your past. At times, this will feel overwhelming, but it actually is wonderful. Now you will see the lies from the past that you still believe in. It is like weeds in your garden. Some days, it seems like they pop up all at once. The good news is that Venus is sextile with Jupiter which brings opportunities in the areas of love and money, which for the majority of people are the important areas of accomplishment. This brings the ray of hope in the midst of the flood. There is a way out to happy ever after. So, if this means to look for another job or make some other change in your life, this is the time to do it.

Friday, September 21, another T-square (see above) between the Sun and Uranus and Pluto. The sun represents you, your life force and your life purpose. Now the spotlight will be on this and makes you look to see if you walk your talk. I remember asking a psychology professor if people who believed in the afterlife handled death of a loved one better than someone who was an atheist. I was told no, which shows a disconnect between what one says they believe and now they react when in the middle of a crisis. That is what this energy is – revealing what your disconnect is.

Saturday, September 22, the Sun enters Libra and begins the Fall Equinox at 7:49 am PDT. The fall is harvest time or as some would say, karma time. What did you put into action since the spring and what are you harvesting now?

The card that I pulled for this week is positive expectations. In the midst of all that happens this week, set your intention for positive things to happen. It does work.
