Astrology for the Week of October 1, 2012

The theme for this week is new beginnings. The energy that is happening right now is breaking down old forms and removing people, situations, etc. that no longer serve you  in your life. Just go with the flow and allow new opportunities into your life. Now is the time for new beginnings.

Tuesday, October 2, we will experience the peaking of a t-square involving Venus, Mars and Neptune. This energy will expose the areas of your life concerning love and money that you thought were working but really are not. If you have had the wool pulled over your eyes, the cap is lifted for you to see others real motivation. The good news is that the energy is prime to move on. There is something better that will come in as soon as you let go. You will find that the people or jobs you leave were really sapping your energy and sabotaging your efforts. It will be such a relief when you look back and see what was really happening.

Wednesday, October 3, Venus is busy again with an opposition (need to balance) with Neptune. This energy will highlight whether there is an even energy exchange in your personal relationships and in your work. It cannot be all one sided with you doing all the giving. This energy will help balance inequality.

Thursday, October 4, Jupiter goes retrograde until January 30. Retrogrades are a time of reflection and also revisiting old issues. Jupiter is concerned with opportunities, so the nest few months will be resolving old issues. If there was something that you were dong that was stopping opportunities  from coming into your life, this energy will highlight that. Retrogrades are also a time to revisit old goals or opportunities that you have put aside. This is a good to revive old plans and put them into action.

Friday, October 5, is another intense Friday like last week. Whereas last Friday brought out mental instability with the Full Moon, this Friday will bring out intense emotion as Mercury is in Scorpio. This can bring out breakdowns in communication and destructive actions. The positive side of this energy is that it is pure emotion for creating new beginnings in your life. It is up to you as to how you experience it in your life. We have another t-square that is beginning today, which will last for the rest of the week. The T-square (tension) is between Venus, Mars and Chiron. This energy will bring up issues in relationships that need to be resolved. The good news is that much healing can be accomplished at this time.

Saturday, October 6, Mars moves into Sagittarius for about one and a half months. Mars in Sagittarius will inspire you to find the truth. This venture will not be done solo but will be in combination with your community. So, if you don’t have a community/family you can count on, now is the optimal time to find one.  

 The card that I pulled for this week is “Prioritize.” Focus on what is important to you and don’t get caught up in busy work that distracts you.
