Astrology for the Week of June 18, 2012.

The theme for this week is to create. We work hard at doing the right steps to
create abundance, but we forget that we cannot create if we are reacting
negatively to something. That is
resistance. So, if you have been
frustrated that things are not working the way you would like, look at your
life and see how much of it is about being stressed and being in reaction to
your world.
Tuesday, June 19, we
will experience a New Moon in Gemini at 8:02 am PDT, which is trine to Neptune
(spirituality and visualization) and Mars (energy). This is a good time to interact with the world with the wonder of child. We
get so caught up in the drama of our world that we assume things. We only see the things, people, and events
that justify our belief about the world.
Our mind filters out everything else.
So, take time today, pause, and really look at what you have not been
seeing. The Sabian symbol for this New
Moon is “The first mockingbird of spring sings from the treetop.” If you google “mockingbirds and Charles
Darwin,” you will find out that it was the observation of the mocking bird that
made Darwin aware that a species can transmutate and evolve. This New Moon asks, “What new you is transforming
right now?” Allow the new you to be
born.
Wednesday, June 20, we will experience the Summer Solstice,
the longest day of the year. It is a
time for celebration and rebirth. If
there is any resistance to rebirth, the Mercury-Saturn square, which happens
today, will force the blinders off our eyes.
We will easily see how you have been resistant in life, especially in
the areas of self-appreciation, success, and abundance. This is actually a very good thing, as this
will show how to become a vibrational match for what we desire to experience.
Thursday, June 21, Mercury is sextile to Mars, which gives
lots of energy to put ideas into action.
This is also a good day to do energy work.
Saturday, June 23, we will experience a Sun-Neptune trine. This will make us want to understand on a deeper
level how to bring spirituality into all areas of our lives. This will be a wonderful day to meditate or
be outside in nature.
Sunday, June 24, we will experience the first peaking of the
Uranus-Pluto square. This is powerful energy
for abrupt radical change, transformation, death, and rebirth. This is the first of a series of seven squares
between Uranus and d Pluto that will end in 2015. This energy wants us to let go of the lies
that we have about the world we live in and the lies that we believe about ourselves. This energy demands transformation, truth, authenticity,
and balance. That is what ascension is
all about. It is not a nirvana out or up there.
It is finding it here. If you
want to see an interesting example of this, watch the Adjustment Bureau with
Matt Damon. It is about a world that
perceives to have free will but does not.
The chairman decides the fate of people and has minions to make it
happen. That is like our world now. We blame “them,” “others” and our “ego” for
what happens to us and like the main characters in the movie, we have to take
our power back and realize that we do have free will. We can choose something different for
ourselves and we have the power to make it happen.
The card that I pulled for this week is a Louise Hay healing
card. “I release all resistance to
money, and I now allow it to flow joyously into my life. My good comes from everywhere and everyone.” Happy Solstice everyone!!
