Astrology for the Week of October 17, 2011

My apologies for posting this a day late. I was overcommitted to some very worthy causes, which was great, but made it difficult to sit down and write this blog. Hence, the theme for this week which is priorities. You are running on hyper drive right now and you need to realize that you cannot get it all done. What really is important to you? Examine this from a place of emotion and not from logic. What feels right is what you should be doing and everything will work out perfectly.

The week started off on Monday with Mercury in opposition to Jupiter. This caused a push pull between what you want to do and the opportunities that presented themselves. Remember the world reflects what you believe and this configuration showed what you believe to be true. This energy will continue for the next few days, so watch your thoughts and what manifests around you.

On Friday, October 21, the Sun trines Neptune that will make you focus on spiritual matters. What is your truth? This would be a good time to do energy work along with meditation.

Other than that, there are no major configurations this week. However, the ones that occurred this week will bring about significant changes. Remember everything that is happening now energetically is to bring balance back into our lives.

The card that I pulled for this week is an Archangel card. Its message is to focus on service. “Your soul desires only to joyfully serve, and to swim in a constant stream of bliss. This stream continuously feed you everything you need. Put your entire focus upon staying in this stream of giving and receiving in every situation and in all that you do.” I would take this message a bit further and add that it is time to become involved in community. It is through our unification as a community that we will rebuild the world that has been systematically destroyed by greed. Look to where you can contribute to community. It may be support of local protest efforts or with other groups in need of support. I will be taking part in the fundraising efforts for our local community radio station, KPOV. Whatever it is, do something and do it from your heart.

Also, my pendulum class on October 24 will be postponed until November due to scheduling conflict. I will post next week when and where it will be held.
