Astrology for the Week of October 10, 2011

The theme for this week is new beginnings. Honor the cycle of life this week. You have been experiencing many different kinds of endings this past year. That phase is ending and it is time for new beginnings. This week, think about what seeds you want to plant.

The week starts with a Full Moon at 7:06 pm PDT. This Full Moon is in Aries, which would be very conducive to new beginnings. The moon is also in the 12^th house and in opposition to Saturn, which will be concerned with healing old wounds from the past in regards to relationships and betrayals. These unresolved issues are stopping you from going forward in life. It is time to let go and forgive yourself. Another interesting thing is that these issues could be family issues that have been pasted down from generation to generation. Therefore, you will be healing not only those that have gone before you, but also those that will follow you in the future. When you change the present, you change the past and the future. The Sabian symbol for this Full Moon is “A magic carpet hovers over the depressing reality of everyday life in an industrial area.” What this means is that you can choose to be down in the depressing reality of life or you can choose to rise above it and not be affected by it. You have a choice to make.

On Wednesday, October 12, Mercury is trine Neptune. This is a good day to daydream and think of all possible outcomes that you want to experience. The energy today will be creative and stimulating. This would also be a good day to meditate and listening for divine guidance.

On Thursday, October 13, Venus is Sextile Pluto. This aspect will make you aware of how your emotions affect your relationships. You will have a strong desire for connection today. The Sun is conjunct Saturn, which will make you very productive today. Last, Mercury is trine Chiron, so this is a good day to receive healing information or to give advice to others.

On Friday, October 14, Venus is in opposition to Jupiter. Today, you will fell like relaxing and will find it difficult to complete projects. Today will also be a good day to examine what you think you should do and what you really want to do. If you only focus on what you have to do, you will miss the opportunities that appear in your life.

On Saturday, October 15, Mercury is sextile Pluto. This day will be much more active that Friday, as you will be seized with the desire to solve things. You will want to scrutinize and examine everything that comes your way. Pay close attention to what you find, as the answers you are seeking are hidden there.
