The theme for this week is Spider: Weaving. What are you weaving in your life? Are you doing the same story over and over? Remember the definition of insanity – doing the same thing and expecting a different result. Pay attention to what you are weaving in your life. You can change things. Now is the time.
Monday, January 17 is the perfect day to start making changes in your thinking. The Sun is positively aspecting Uranus so expect to receive ah-ha’s today to questions that you have been pondering. This will be a day of new discoveries and encounters with new people in your life.
Tuesday, January 18, Mercury is conjunct Pluto. If your thoughts were not intense enough yesterday, the energy today will make up for it. You will want to get to the bottom of things or will become so focused on one idea to the exclusion of others.
Wednesday, January 19 is a Full Moon in Cancer at 1:21pm PST. This will not be as strong as the New Moon earlier this month, but it has a strong energy nonetheless. This moon along with Mars in opposition will bring up issues about nurturing yourself, home, and with family. What changes need to be made? It is time to give value to you.
Thursday, January 20, The Sun enters Aquarius today. The focus the past 30 days has been on practical matters, now it turns to community and humanitarianism. There is strength in numbers and now is the time to collaborate together.
Saturday, January 22, signals the beginning of a 12 year cycle with Jupiter entering Aries. Jupiter represents opportunities and Aries is new beginnings and forward motion. You asked for change and now you are going to get it. But remember with change comes the transformation shift which will be frightening and scary at times. You may want to straddle the fence by choosing some things from the old world that make you feel secure and some things from the new unknown world. Well, the energy won’t let that happen. You will be forced off the fence. It will be like the tornado propelling Dorothy out of Kansas. We ain’t in Kansas anymore.
Sunday, January 23, Venus is aspecting Saturn which will be a wonderful day to start a gratitude journal. You have much to be thankful for, even in the midst of everything going wrong. Take the time to day to be thankful for what is going right in your life.
The card that I pulled is Storyteller: Expansion. This is very timely with the theme of Spider: Weaving. Examine the stories that you are telling yourself. For some of you, it may mean editing a few chapters here and there but for the majority reading this, it is time to let go of your story – no matter how justified you are in keeping it. It is time to move on and write a new chapter of your life.
