The theme for the week is Sun Dance: Self-Sacrifice. The traditional Sun Dance is held over four days and is a sacred ceremony that honors the Sacred Tree of Life and the Four Directions. Its purpose is to give the warriors an opportunity to prove their worthiness as protectors of their People. It is a ritual where the Warriors sacrifice their pain, their blood, and themselves for the good of their people. Your Sun Dance this week will be sacrificing the parts of yourself that prevent you from seeing the sacredness of your life. Sacrifice the fear and doubt that is limiting you so that your dreams may live.
On Wednesday, December 29, Mars is square Saturn. This energy will be very productive. It would be a perfect day to do your personal Sun Dance.
Thursday, December 30, Mercury retrograde ends - definitely a time for celebration. So, now is the time to begin to think about new projects. However, some of the effects of Mercury retrograde will linger until January 18. That is when Mercury clears its shadow. This does not mean to stop everything until the 18th, it is just a caution that some of the effects of Mercury retrograde will still be in the air. It will just be less intense.
