Astrology for the Week of June 28, 2010

The theme for this week is Frog: Cleansing. This powerful card is a reminder that it is time to look at where you are today. If you are tired, overwhelmed, frustrated or depressed, then stop and give yourself a break. It could mean to do something relaxing or it probably means to shut down that part of you that is forever judging you. That monkey mind chatter goes on all the time and you must tell yourself, “thank you for sharing,” and just ignore that disapproving voice. It will stop when you are no longer attached to it.

This is a relatively quiet week after all the activity of last week. Mercury is prominent this week starting with a Sun-Mercury conjunction on Monday, June 28. This energetic pattern makes it a great time for communication and learning.

Thursday, June 2, Mercury aspects Mars making it a great time to put plans into action. The ideas that you have been pondering are ripe for development. If you have been stuck and not sure what direction to take, this energy will make it very clear which direction you should take.

The cards that I pulled for this week are:

Icosahedron: Perspective (Sacred Geometry). This card says that many of the ideas that you have been pondering are complex and have many sides to it. Take the time to write a list of priorities as you will want to do everything at once and yet that is not possible. Approach everything systematically and decide what truly is important, what must be done immediately and what can be put off until later. That will make the task easier.

Smoke Signals: Intent. Why are you doing what you are doing? Do you want to do it or do you have to do it? This week, take time to find out what your intention is with everything you do. Then you will understand why you are drawing the people and events that are happening into your life now.

Thunderbolt (Osho Zen). Things are still breaking down in your life. This will surprise you as you feel that you have mastered the law of attraction and do not understand why these horrible things are happening. Our world is still self correcting and that is what is happening in your life. I call it the Etch-a-Sketch Law of Life. When you want something new, you cannot just begin to draw a new picture over the old one. You have to turn the apparatus upside down and shake it before you can start. Your world is upside down and shaking, so that a new clean slate can emerge for you to begin your new story on.

Events for this week: Goddess Energy Class on Friday, June 2, noon. $10.00. This week will focus on power, intutition and learning how to answers for the questions in your life.
