This Week in Astrology, September 27, 2009

It is so nice writing this blog this week after the extreme turbulence of the past few weeks. Feel the change in the air. The energy is slowly starting to move in the direction that you want. It also helps that Mercury goes direct on Tuesday. Yeah.

On Monday, Mercury aligns with Chiron with two different effects. The first is one of tension which will force an issue to come to a head. You want this to happen, so that stagnant energy can start moving again. It will bring much needed relief. The second effect is one of mental clarity. Look around you for signs and answers. If you have been unsure of a direction you need to take, the next step will be very clear. In fact, you will wonder why you did not see it before. It just wasn’t the right time.

On Tuesday, Mercury goes direct. Now is the time to go ahead with the plans that you have had on hold. You have felt that you have been pushing against a brick wall with no effect and now, an opening just appears. Because of the economic crisis that we are in right now, you may not feel comfortable jumping out there just yet. You will by October 14, when Mercury moves past the place where it went retrograde. Trust your instincts with this.

Wednesday will be another day of illumination. If you did not get the answer you were seeking on Monday, you will get it today. Mars aligns with the Mercury/Chiron aspect and that give it extra energy to get the job done. Also, be aware that the answer may not be in the form that you want. Don’t automatically reject the ideas that you are receiving. Be open to everything around you.

The full moon in Aries on Sunday, October 4, will also help implement the new ventures and ideas that you have. It will be a good time to see what is working in your life and what needs to be let go of. You will have to make adjustments as you run into a few dead ends. Just keep trying things out and you will find the mix that works for you. Above all enjoy the lighter energy that is around us now.

The changes you are experiencing now are divinely directed by your newborn willingness to open your heart to Divine love and guidance. You are protected now and in the future, so follow your path to the happy outcomes you desire.

Answered Prayer”
You have asked for something and it is happening now. The only caution I have is to be open to how it manifests in your life. The problem with affirmations and prayers is that we don’t always know the final outcome of what we desire. This is splendidly explained in Larry Dossey M.D.’s book, Be Careful What You Pray For, You Might Just Get It: What We Can Do About the Unintentional Effects of Our Thoughts, Prayers and Wishes.” So with your prayers and affirmations, always add, “This and something better manifests for me now.” You may not really want what you think you want and this allows the perfect solution/manifestation to come to you instead.

The last card is: Look Inside Yourself
This card reminds us to sit quietly and look within. We are used to paying attention to the noise in our lives, we do not pay attention to the silence. The silence was here before the noise began. The silence is where we will find our power. Instead of trying to stop the thoughts in your head, look beyond them into the silence. What does the silence feel like? What does it look like? Does it have a color or a shape? Examine and observe the silence. Make friends with it. This where the magic begins.
