Right now in the sky, Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus and Neptune are retrograde. Retrogrades are dreaded by many but they are simply times that make you examine areas of your life in order to release out moded beliefs and goals. The trouble with us humans is that we naturally take the easy road. Come on, how many of you get up each day and declare “Today, I want to experience as much pain, chaos and confusion as possible?” Well, I certainly don’t fit those ranks. My prayers and intentions are usually on the lines of “let me experience abundance today” or “help out me or my family members, friends, etc. who are in dire need.” All the retrograde planets force us to make the changes that need to be done but have been put on the back burner. Mercury retrograde makes us examine our mental processes and beliefs. Communication is slowed down so that we are forced to do that. Jupiter retrograde means that we are re-examining our goals and opportunities. Many proponents of Law of Attraction told us to make a list of what and choose a date for completion. Now we have to examine if that is truly what we want and also that things don’t always happen on our time line. Uranus retrograde is the tornado that comes through and pulls the carpet out from under us. We have had the warnings that we needed to change things in our life, such as get out of a job that we hate. But we have chosen instead to stay because we needed the money or we were more afraid of the unknown. Well, never fear, Uranus will force the move for us. Neptune retrograde will make you examine your spirituality. You will question your belief of what God is or even if God exists. What do you really believe, not what you were spoon fed as a child? You will find out whether you want to or not. Except for Mercury which goes direct September 29th, these major themes will be prevalent in your life until December 2009.
Today, Sunday September 20, Saturn aligns with the dwarf planet, Makemake. This transit only happens once in our lifetime. This alignment will make us aware of the limitations of resources on our planet and of our over population. Saturn assigns hard core reality of the conditions. Those people, who have personal transits to this configuration, will feel the call to arms. Next year, Jupiter will transit Makemake bringing the opportunities to make the necessary global environmental changes and Uranus will be there to create the crisis that will force the changes to take place.
On Monday, September 21, Venus moves into Virgo. The key phrase of Virgo is “I analyze” and the key word is “service.” With the Saturn–Makemake transit, the theme will be on a global level: what can I do to help the planet? On a personal level, we will feel the need to simplify our lives further. Do we really need all the stuff that we have collected? Recycle or give away things you don’t need or use anymore. That is a step which will help our planet in the long run.
On Tuesday, the Sun goes into Libra. The theme of Libra is beauty, balance and relationships. Implement ways to find balance in your life so that you can see the beauty all around you.
On Wednesday, there will be a Sun-Pluto square. With the Sun in Libra, the focus will be on relationships in your life. This is the opportunity to transform your relationships. The Mercury-Neptune quincunx that will let you see the issues that you have ignored in your relationships. If you weren’t sure of what was really happening, it will be very apparent to you now. Mercury is opposing Uranus, so you will receive intuitive flashes on how to do this. However, a Mars- Jupiter quincunx may make you want to simply end a troubled relationship. Wait until Thursday before making any drastic changes. Look instead to see what measures you can implement to make transforming changes in your relationships.
Thursday will be a magical day of divine inspiration. Pay attention to what inspires you. Write down your thoughts and implement them in creative ways
There are no major transits for the rest of the week, but I think that we have been given more than enough earlier in the week. Look at these next few days as a reprieve to implant the ideas you have been given.
.
Void of course moons for this week. These are times to not implement anything new.

The cards that I pulled for this week are:
Comfort (Angel Card:
Utilized the things that make you feel good. If you believe in angels, call them for guidance. If you love the outdoors, go for a long walk. If you are not sure of what you like, take the time to explore this. If you want to eat chocolate, make sure that is the only thing you are doing at the time. Close your eyes, eat is slowly, savor every bite. No matter what you choose, be totally in the moment with it.
Healing Card:
Illness is not a punishment, but a stimulant to live. Illness can be a teacher, companion or challenge- but not a punishment. Still, sometimes the message isn’t clear. Ignore the illness. Stop analyzing why it is happening. Look for the stimulation in the knowledge that you can heal in an instant. Do this by accepting the perfection in what is happening. If you are a diabetic, realize that your illness is the perfect example of diabetes. That will let your body to release its atttachment to the illness and allow healing to begin.
Healing Card:
Love is like a deep pool that never dries up. You have more to give than you realize. The only expectation you should have in giving to others is what you expect of yourself. You must love and take care of yourself first. That is how you stay replenished.
