Astrology for the Week of August 6, 2012
by Michele Freeman
The theme for this
week is be fearless. As Maya Angelou said, “Life loves to be taken by the lapel
and be told I am with you kid. Let’s go.” So what are you waiting for…? Let’s
go.
Wednesday, August 8, Mercury
goes direct. This cannot happen too soon, as I have had to reformat a computer,
find my outlook hidden files, spend too much time talking to a Microsoft tech,
etc. It was not what I wanted to do this
summer. We are also experiencing the beginning of a t-square that will
peak on the 15th. The exciting thing about this challenging aspect
as it will clear the way for radical transformation in the areas of love and
money. If something negative comes up,
it is only something you have to let go of. The other area of life it will
affect is family, as Venus is in cancer. Expand your idea of what a family is
and allow new forms to emerge.
Thursday, August 9,
Venus is trine Neptune. This will be a wonderful day for divine inspiration and
creative intuition. Be receptive to the answers that you will get.
The card that I
pulled for this week is Silence from the OSHO Zen Deck. “The energy of the
whole has taken possession of you. You are possessed, you are no more, and the
whole is. This moment, as the silence penetrates in you, you can understand the
significance of it, because it is the same silence that Gautam Buddha
experienced. It is the same silence that Chaung Tzu or Bodhidharma or Nasen... The
taste of the silence is the same. Time changes, when world goes on changing,
but the experience of silence, the joy of it, remains the same. That is the only
thing you can rely upon, the only thing that never dies. It is the only thing
that you can call your own being.
