Astrology for the Week of November 27, 2011

The theme for this week is to trust your inner knowing. You do know more than you realize. You are just afraid to trust yourself. Keep track this week of how many times you are right. You remember all the times you were wrong, but you do not keep track of your hits. Also, remember that no one is correct all the time. That is because we just do not have all the questions. It we know the question, we can get an answer. Think about that.

It is relatively quiet this week. Yeah. We have enough to contend with Mercury retrograde. Now, even though Mercury retrograde is not a good time to start a new project, it is a great time to retool and work on existing ones. Mercury retrograde means that old issues will come up from the past, but also old ideas, which should be looked at again. Sometimes it is all about timing, and even though it did not work before, does not mean it will not work now.

Thursday, December 1, Venus is conjunct Pluto in Capricorn. Venus represents love and money while Pluto represents death and rebirth. The key to experiencing the full benefit of the energy today is to really feel that you deserve the good you have desired. In addition, this means accepting yourself as perfect right now – even with the imperfect body, perceived lack of knowledge or skills, or whatever. When you think that you need to improve yourself, you are telling the universe that you do not deserve until you reach the impossible point of perfection. You are perfect now. Tell that to yourself repeatedly. That is the key to your heart’s desire.

Friday, December 2, the Sun is square Mars. This energy will make you want to reconnect with your passion. What excites you? What makes you feel that life is worth living? Start by giving yourself permission to feel joy and passion in your life.

The card that I pulled for this week is shame. This is a reminder that as you go more and more into your joy, you will have memories of the past that will make you feel that you do not deserve. Do you feel that everyone should be happy so that you can be happy? This is a big one for many people. Be selfish. Other people are making decisions about their happiness. You are not responsible for them. Do not let their unwillingness to be responsible for their lives but a damper on yours.
