Astrology for the week of September 12, 2011
The theme for this week is Joy. Take time to be joyful and feel joy no matter what is happening in your life. This practice will be very important for the rest of September, as there will be many difficult and challenging aspects. Take at least 10 minutes a day and meditation on, “I am joy.” This is how you will stay balance within the whirlwind.
On Monday, September 12, we will experience a Full Moon in Pisces at 2:27am PDT. The moon in Pisces will be concerned with unconscious motivation and addictions. It will illuminate the ways that you are out of balance in your life. Remember everything is good and bad at the same time. It is how you use it. Therefore, even though you may not have the socially undesirable addictions such as substance abuse, you may be a control freak and trying to make everything happen to your agenda. After all, Law of Attraction said that you must focus on what you want to have happen and that you must have the correct vibration in order to attract it. The problem is that if you focus too hard, you set up a resistance, which will stop everything that you desire from happening. So, take the time today to see if you are trying too hard and are addicted to making yourself into your idea of perfection. This reminds me of a study I can across concerning body image. The study showed that women felt much worse about themselves after they view fashion magazines. The moral of course, is to not compare yourself to the models in the magazines, as their images are not real and doctored with Photoshop. However, this can be applied to other areas of your life such as spirituality. Maybe it is not a good idea to read about someone that you considered is a guru or who appears to be enlightened and is in bliss. Because, in the same way as with a fashion model, the guru really is an illusion and not real. It is your perception that this person is more perfect than you are.
I sometimes mention Sabian Symbols (http://www.cornerstone-astrology.com/sabian_symbols.php) in this blog. These symbols add an interesting twist to astrological interpretation. The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is “A table set for an evening meal.” The table represents your life. Is the table full of what you want to have or is it empty? What do you think is possible? The Full Moon today will illuminate the answer.
On Wednesday, September 14, there is a grand trine (positive energy) between Pluto (death and rebirth). Mercury (mental activity), and Jupiter (opportunity and luck). This would be a great day to focus on business opportunities, communication, and education.
Thursday, September 15 is the beginning of the intense whirlwind. Today, there is a rare occurrence, called a Yod aka “Finger of God.” The Yod is a challenging destiny symbol. You are being pushed and the answers are not always easy to find. This Yod concerns what you want to do and the motivation to do it while at the same time, Neptune, the illusionist, is making you believe that it is not possible. Again, this is your perception.
Friday, September 16, Pluto goes direct. When Pluto was retrograde, it meant going over old issues. Now it is moving forward. This powerful planet demands that you reinvent yourself. What is your new story? This is what you need to be focusing on.
Saturday, September 17, the time is perfect for energy work and to work on building up you chi through physical activities such as qigong, tai chi, dance, yoga or hiking in nature. Remember, it is all fine and dandy to work on the 7th chakra, but for manifestation in the physical world, you must reconnect with the root chakra.
Sunday, September 18, there is an intense t-square (difficult aspect) between Venus, Uranus, and Pluto. Venus is love and money. Pluto is death a rebirth and Uranus is sudden abrupt change. This will challenge your ideas of love, money, and relationships. If there is something that you need to let go of, you will be aware of it today.
The card that I pulled for this week is Joy. Joy is the highest energy of all. It is the magical sense that everything is possible. Joy springs from appreciating the gifts within each moment. Joy allows you to attract and create your present and future moments at their highest possible levels.
