Astrology for the Week of May 2, 2011

The theme of this week is spring-cleaning. Expect the unexpected with issues that you did not think existed but have come to the surface. This is a good thing as it can be clean up easily. If you wait, you take the chance that more damage will occur and will cost you more emotionally and financially.

The week starts with a New Moon in Taurus on Monday, May 2, at 11:51 pm PDT. This represents new beginnings in security, sensuality, and self-esteem. Explore what inside of you gives you security, boosters you self esteem and makes you feel sensual. Remember it must come from within before you see it without. In addition, on the same note, be aware of what is preventing you from experiencing that. Let go of, clean and recycle all things that are now a burden and in the way.

There are no other major aspects this week, which is great as you will be busy with cleaning up your life this week. Just think of it as a time to get your personal garden ready to plant the dreams that you want and not what others have forced on you.

The card that I pulled for this week is laziness: Osho Zen. This card is a reminder that no matter what you do this week, it is important to have balance. Even though you may be gung-ho on cleaning up your life and finishing things right now, things may not go as quickly as you like. Take time this week to slow down and “smell the flowers.” Remember the old proverb, “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy.” Keep things in perspective and keep things in balance this week.
