Astrology for the Week of April 4, 2011

The theme for this week is the “Two of Swords - Decision time.” You are at a crossroad and you must make a decision. Will you let your fear stop you or will you take the leap into the void? That is what you will be faced with this week.

We have two major configurations this week. The first one will happen on Monday, April 4. Neptune moves into Pisces today until March 2025 except for a short revisit to Aquarius that takes place from November 2011 to February 2012. This is a beginning of a new 14 year cycle will promote an expanded state of consciousness which will focus of attaining harmony between the physical and the spiritual world. It is time to unite our “selves.” That is what enlightenment is. However, this may not be as easy as it seems. We will be tested. Do we actually walk our talk? Do we really believe what we say we believe? All these major cycles, from The Ninth Wave of the Mayan Calendar and Uranus moving into Aries, which started in March along with this configuration, will shake things up and will show who is just doing the motions or who is actually living their truth.

Wednesday, April 6, the Sun is conjunct Jupiter, which will put out a positive vibe that you really can change your life. This will feel wonderful after the depressive “OMG, does anything ever change?” feeling that has been consuming your life lately.

On Saturday, April 9, the second major configuration happens this week with Pluto turning retrograde. In addition, if that was not enough, Pluto is square Saturn, which, force the clearing of old issues, or beliefs that are holding you back. Expect more of the “Didn’t I already clear that?” feeling to events in your life. The answer is “Yes, you did clear the first layer. Now you are seeing the issues behind the issues.” Once you realize that, you easily clear things even quicker than you did before. Just do not get stuck in “Will this ever end?” That will put up resistance that will stop you in your tracks and just pile up the junk in your life. Your mantra this week should be “Clear, clear, clear, let go, let go, let go.”

On the positive side, if you have a major planet in a cardinal sign, Capricorn, Aries, Cancer or Libra, at around 7º, this will be an extra powerful time with Pluto aspecting them. For those of you that do not know your charts, 7º of a Sun sign is around the first of the month. So if you have a birthday near the 31 or 1st of a month, expect this energy of transformation to profoundly affect you.

Another aspect that is happening today is that Mercury is conjunct the Sun, so even though, Mercury is retrograde; this will be a good day for communication.

The card that I pulled for this week is “The Child of Wands." Approach everything this week as if you have never seen or experienced it before. Open your mind like a childs so that you can see opportunities or benefits that you would ordinarily ignore. Find out what is true and what is not. Find out your truth and not someone else’s. That is how you will find happiness.
