Astrology for the Week of March 14, 2011

The theme for this upcoming week is giving and receiving. The entire universe operates in cycles similar to your inhalations and exhalations. When you only exhale (give) or only inhale, (receive), you become out of rhythm with the universe. For optimal health, energy and replenishment, balance each inhalation in your life with an exhalation. Take time this week to remind yourself to breathe. Balance yourself through breath.

Monday, March 14, Venus is trine Saturn which will allow people to see the fruit of their labors. What you manifest today will show where you are energetically. If the results are not to your liking, pay attention to what comes up. That will let you know what you have to balance in your life.

Tuesday, March 15, Mercury is conjunct Jupiter. This energy will inspire you to learn and understand a wide range of subjects and to master as many of them as possible.

Friday, March 18, Mercury will be in opposition to Saturn. This aspect will bring up information from the unconscious. Don let it make you depressed. It is just letting you know where your thinking is holding you back.

On Saturday, March 19, we have a Full Moon in Virgo at 11:10 am PDT. This Full Moon will be in opposition to Uranus so it will move you to find fulfillment in your life. With this current economic crisis, it is easy to fall into the thinking that you have to do something. But is that true? Remember the world is a reflection of what you believe. Is this what you want to believe?

The week ends with the Spring Equinox on Sunday, March 20. Aries means new beginnings and with Uranus in Aries, expect change that will force new beginnings. The Sun in Aries will bring the energy that will give you the energy to make the changes that need to be done.

Sometimes, I wish that there wasn’t so much upheaval in the astrological forecast but 2011 is a year of radical change from environmental changes to inner ones. Remember the truth that changes comes from within, and if we want to see peace and prosperity in our outer world, we must change the inner one first.

The card that I pulled for this week is: Yemana: Balance. Yemana, the Santeria goddess of the ocean, is often called upon to provide rain: water that brings forth life and nurtures the earth, like the waters of the womb. She symbolizes the divine balance between heaven and earth. Our soul is demanding balance and that is the highest level that we must strive for. Look for opportunities to find balance in your life this week.
