Astrology for the Week of September 20, 2010

The theme for this week is Mind: Page of Clouds. This is a reminder to watch your thoughts this week. Is your mind justifying and making excuses for where you are in life, even though it is not where you want to be, i.e., you don’t have money because there are no jobs available right now? You unintentionally cause resistance by focusing on the events that you perceive as negative which repels your desires. This is the incredible mind trap that we created for ourselves. Remember that life is a game and you must be constantly aware of that in order to find the solutions to your dilemmas.

On Tuesday, September 21, the Sun in Virgo will be in opposition to Jupiter and Uranus. This will bring about a paradigm shift which will reveal how you are limiting yourself. There is a theory in traditional vocational counseling, Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) which states that it is people’s personal self-efficacy beliefs about their ability to perform specific tasks, their outcome expectations in life, beliefs about cause and effect and the kinds of goals that they do or do not set for themselves that determines which choices they take in career development. The bottom line is that if you do believe you can or cannot do something is the determining factor in which opportunities are presented or acted upon in your life. The world simply reflects your beliefs back to you. As the Pogo comic strip stated, “We found the enemy and he are us.”

Wednesday, September 22 marks the beginning of the Fall Equinox at 8:09 pm PDT. The Sun also enters Libra today.

Thursday, September 23, we will experience a Full Moon in Aries at 3:17 am. This will give you the energy to charge forward and begin to implement the dreams that you have put on the back burner. The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon is “A woman just risen from the sea; a seal is embracing her.” This is exciting as this indicates that the energy will be feminine which means that change will come from the vibration you have within. I have spoke of this in earlier blogs. You must be the vibration of what you want to attract. This Full Moon is also conjunct the energetic configuration of Tuesday, so be prepare for forward movement if you are truly willing to let go of the past and self limiting beliefs. Remember if you need to figure out why something happened, it means that you expect it to happen again. Is that where you really want to be?

The week ends with the Sun square Pluto on Saturday, September 25. This is a reminder that you cannot change/manifest or create by yourself. That is your ego talking. Ask for Divine Guidance, call upon your angels, guides or ancestors, meditate or pray. Use the otherworld help in whatever way resonates that with you. It doesn’t matter what you choose, only that you choose something and do it.

Drum: Internal Timing. This is a reminder to honor the cycles in life. By ignoring that you may be pushing too hard and creating resistance towards the very goal you are striving for. It is Divine timing and not yours that decides when and how everything happens.

Ace of Swords: New beginnings in thinking. The best way to view this card is the saying, “Today is the first day of the rest of your life.” Focus this week on changing one negative thought at a time. The victory is achieved by applying mind over matter and discipline. You can change your thoughts which will change your life.
