Astrology for the week of July 19, 2010

The theme for this week is The Queen of Staves (Goddess Tarot). The keywords for this card are passion, integrity and action. These are important concepts to keep in mind with the energy that will occur this week. Take time to really look inward to see what your heart desires and not what your ego is telling you to do. Power comes from the heart chakra. Embody this concept this week.

On Wednesday, July 21, Saturn enters Libra and will be there until October 2012. This will put an emphasis on all relationships from platonic friendships, family, co workers and significant other relationships. This energy will highlight the relationship itself showing the problems that need to be worked out or areas where the relationship can be taken to new levels. So, don’t despair if the immediate effect is fighting. That is only showing the areas that need to be worked on so that you can experience what you truly desire. Relationships are like a house that you are remodeling. You cannot bring in the interior designers when the dry wall needs to be replaced and the electrical wiring does not meet code. The problems have to be fixed first before all the wonderful finishing touches can be applied. Think of this time as new beginnings and work on building a solid foundation.

On Thursday, July 22, the Sun enters Leo. This will be a great time to work on plans in progress as not only will the Sun enter Leo but it will be sextile Saturn. Enjoy the energy for leadership, accomplishment, endurance and creativity. You can do it, so let’s get it done.

Friday, July 23, the Sun is active again with a trine to Uranus. This is the day you will see things move and change in areas that you really didn’t believe could happen. Now for a little science…When something goes from total inertia (no movement at all), it has to build up critical mass (energy). During this time, you do not see any effect from all the work you are doing. Once the momentum starts, it takes on a life of its own. This is the energy that will begin today – movement in areas that did not seem would ever change. Your affirmations and all your inner work have been producing this energy. Now you will see it happen.

Sunday, July 25 is an exciting day with a Full Moon in Aquarius and a Jupiter-Pluto square. Let’s talk about the Jupiter-Pluto square first. This aspect will make you take a closer look at what you have been intentionally or unintentionally desiring this past year. What is it that you truly desire to experience? You may find that some of your goals have changed. Take the time to revamp your intentions. You are not the same person you were a year ago, and you need to change your desires to reflect that.

The New Moon in Aquarius is especially powerful now as it is in alignment with the Cardinal T-square of Saturn, Uranus and Pluto which are the planets which have been wreaking havoc in your life the past year and a half. The old has been falling apart for some time now, so that something new can come in. What this New Moon is saying is to become detached from the effects that have happened in your life. They only occurred so that you would become distracted and not see your power. Let go of “New Age” guilt that says that you wanted to let these events happen and you “did” something to bring them on. They mean nothing. Karma is only karma until you get tired of it and let it go. Let it go.

Circle: wholeness, potential (Sacred Geometry). The keyword for this concept is: THINK BIG. You have been limiting yourself, it is time to expand beyond and break though the self imposed glass ceiling.

Spider: Weaving Medicine Cards). Spider is the creator/weaver of the universe. This card reminds you to look at what you have been weaving all your life. If we let our fears control us, the web will be weak and small. The message here is to consciously create, this time not out of fear but from love.

Wishing Upon a Star (Inner Child Cards). This card goes perfectly with the previous two cards. Many of you have experienced your dreams falling apart or never coming true, so you are afraid to really open your heart to what you truly want. This card says to ignore your “history” and to make a wish again. Miracles do happen.
