Astrology for the Week of March 15, 2010
The theme for this week is Give-Away ceremony: Release. This is so perfect because whatever you don’t resolve before the Spring Equinox on March 20, which is also when the Sun moves into Aries, will be issues that you will deal with for the next year. Don’t get stuck on anything that no longer serves you. People, ideas, beliefs, attitudes, and belongings that are holding you back need to be released. This is also the time to give away things you no longer want or can use. Trust that your needs are being taken care of and look forward to the future.
This week starts off with a New Moon on Monday, March 15. This is a good time to start new projects and implement new beginnings. The Sabian symbol for this New Moon is “A New Moon reveals that it’s time for people to go ahead with their different projects.” This says that it is important that the projects are yours. Have you been putting your heart and soul into someone else’s dream? It is time for your dreams to come true.
Wednesday, March 17, which is also St. Patrick’s Day, has a Sun-Uranus conjunction. All one to one encounters and close relationships will be occasions for surprising events today. Things will be different from your usual norm. This is also not a day to repress energy. You will not be able to remain in denial about something or try to repress it as this will cause the energy to surge, setting the stage for accidents or unpleasant encounters. Remember what Henry Ford said, “Most people spend more time and energy going around problems than in trying to solve them.” Use your energy constructively.
Thursday, March 18, Mercury opposes Saturn. This will show you where you are restricting and limiting yourself with outmoded attitudes and beliefs. Remember another Henry Ford saying, “Whether you think you can or think you can't, you're right.” Mercury also represents technological communication, so take the time to back your data up today.
Saturday, March 20, the Sun enters Aries. This will feel wonderful after the stagnant energy of the past few months. What have you planted? If it is not exactly what you want, this is the time to make corrections or to gain a new perspective. Mercury is square Pluto, so try to keep an open mind on all issues and don’t become obsessed with one idea or thought. Perhaps your idea or project needs tweaking. Perhaps you have been coming from your ego and fear instead of your heart. Today, you will see what needs correcting. Be open to all information that comes to you.
Sunday, March 20 will be an interesting day as you will feel energetic and want to move forward but the Sun is opposite Saturn which will bring up obstacles of all kinds. Part of manifesting dreams also involves divine timing and patience. Just go with the flow and trust that everything is happening perfecting and when it is supposed to.
The cards that I pulled for this week are:
Gentleness: Be easy on yourself. You are full of energy and want to do things now but this card says to be gentle with youself and don’t rush things otherwise all you will accomplish is becoming ill.
Have Confidence: This card goes hand in hand with gentleness. Do you trust that you are being divinely guided and abundance is your birthright? Or are you afraid of the future and do not trust that miracles can happen? Trying too hard to force things and make things happen shows that you do not trust.
Sacred Geometry: Luna and the Volcano: This is the Seed of Life indicating the beginnings of change. One cycle has ended and another is beginning. So, do not become frustrated if you do not see immediate change. Like a flower bulb in the ground, much is happening below the surface before the plant breaks the surface. Be in the moment and feel your dream happening now. Let go of thinking how wonderful it will be when (fill in the blank) because that says that you don’t believe it will happen and that will only create resistance. Feel it happening now. That is how one manifests.
