Astrology for the Week of January 4, 2010

For those of you that are not on my Facebook account, this is what I posted on the New Year:

Happy New Year. 2010 will be a 3 year and that is the integration of the selves. Most cultures and psychological theories utilize the three selves model - Higher self (spiritual), middle self (ego) and lower self (unconscious) Instead of being at odds with one another, it is time to integrate and use all together. That is the key to fulfillment.

The theme for this week is Rites of Passage – Change

This marks a time of great change in your life. The changes may be small but they are happening nonetheless. If things are not moving in your life, what changes need to be made? Now is the time.

On Monday, January 4, the Sun is conjunct Mercury. Venus is also conjunct the Sun until Thursday. Venus is love and money and Mercury is mental activity, so this is a good time for business planning, practical creativity, and deciding intentions (goals) for 2010.

On Thursday, January 7, Mars aspects the Sun, so this will be a time of high energy and will bring about the desire to put plans into action. It is a stressful connection, so be careful not to be impulsive. Take the time the first part of the week to do some careful thinking and be ready for the energy that will bring change in your life. If you have areas in your life that you feel restricted or repressed, this energy will accentuate that and will make you want to do something about it.

On Friday, January 8th, Venus is aspecting Mars which will bring out the areas that you need to change in business and with love. This will also be an inspiring time with flashes of intuition. You will know what to do.

The cards for this week are:

Laughter: Take time to laugh. That is the best medicine. Everything is the cosmic joke so stop being so serious.

Support: You are being guided and supported by the angelic realms. Take the time to feel their love and energy. If you cannot do this, just pretend. That is the first step in reestablishing the connection.

Archangel Michael: This is a wonderful support card that shows that everything that is happening is supposed to happen. It may not ever make sense but that is because you cannot see the whole picture. Feel the energy of divine support and take the time to meditate on it.
