Astrology for the Week of February 1, 2010

The square between Uranus and Saturn peaked on Sunday, January 31. This intense energy says to get rid of everything you no longer need in your life, mentally and physically. Remember the saying, “If in doubt, throw it out.” This energy will continue through September 2010. To add to this intensity, Makemake aspects Uranus. This says to find innovative solutions to your problems without exhausting your current resources. There are ways, you just have to be creative and not rely on your usual response to difficulties. The solutions are there, but like riddles, you will have to look at things from a different perspective to find them. This goes along with the theme for this week which is Sun Dance. This card asks for you to look at what needs to be sacrificed so that the sacredness of your life may be restored. For most, this is doubt and fear that needs to be gotten rid of so that your dreams can take root and grow.

Tuesday, February 2, is Candlemas, which is one of the cross quarter days of the calendar wheel. It falls half way between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Take time to think about what you are planting in your life. And also remember the saying, "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." End the insanity, do something different and make changes in your life.

On February 5, Friday, busy Saturn aspects Jupiter making it a good day for business as it will point out the practical and basic things that you need to do to succeed. Again, remember the overall theme is to get rid of the things that no longer serve you.

Saturday, February 6, Jupiter aspects Pluto which actually makes is a great day to apply the Law of Attraction. This aspect will continue through February 20, so watch what you are thinking and feeling all day long. That is what you will manifest. You can easily see what fear manifests so make an effort to create from strength.

Sunday, February 7, Chiron is conjunct Venus. This is a wonderful day to experience healing through the power of love. It is also a good day to ask for help or assistance in areas that you want to grow or expand in.

Adventure: Make an effort to see life as an adventure instead of a hopeless mess. If you are experiencing fear, tell yourself that you are really excited. This will change how your body experiences the stress and will allow the transforming of the energy from negative to positive.

Let Your Past Go (Angel Card: The burden of hauling your past around has made you weary. It is time to set this burden down. Keep only the lessons and the love and leave everything else behind. It is only holding you back.

Abundance/Prosperity: The universe is pouring its abundance out to you. Be open to receiving. If this is not what you are experiencing, tell yourself all day long. “Wouldn’t it be wonderful if_______________?" This opens the door for abundance to come it.
