Astrology for the Week of December 7, 2009

Monday, Dec. 7 will be an intense and powerful day for communication with Mercury conjunct Pluto. The energy will be great for business and commerce, but be aware that this aspect will bring out the control freaks who will want things their way.

Jupiter is conjunct Chiron today bringing into being a mental healing trend. Look for the ways you sabotage yourself through mental contradictions, i.e., saying to yourself “I easily lose weight” while thinking that you are fat. This Jupiter/Chiron alignment clears these emotional and spiritual issues allowing physical healing to take place. Miracles can happen; we only stop them with our beliefs. The Jupiter/Chiron conjunction will be strong until the 19th, so take advantage of the powerful energy.

Thursday, Dec. 10, will be a day of vibrant energy with the Sun trine Mars. This is a day for action and getting things done. Put your ideas into motion.

Although there are few aspects this week, that actually makes the aspects that are present more intense. You will like working with the energies this week, as you will feel that you are finally accomplishing something significant.

The cards I pulled for this week are:

Nephthys: This is the Egyptian symbol for Chalice. It stands for that which is not yet realized and still is hidden. It is also a card of protection. So, its gift to you this week is protection while you bring to the surface that which is hidden. Things are changing and what you want to know will be revealed to you. It may not be apparent immediately, but it will become obvious.

Freedom: This card tells you that you have the ability to experience freedom in all aspects of your life. In order to do this, you have to realize the true meaning of freedom which is the unknown. You have been asking for freedom with your agenda and that is not how it happens. True freedom is the unknown without a guidebook or guarantees. Let go of the fears that prevent you from experiencing true freedom and true potential.

The last card is another Egyptian one, Ankh. This is a wonderful card that represents the Key to Life. It says that you have the power to get what you truly desire in life. However, the important step to activating that power is to truly love and accept yourself. If you really did that, you would have not fear of the future and you would not experience lack. Where are you stopping yourself?
